Agatha also Agata, is a feminine given name derived from the Ancient Greek word ἀγαθός (agathos), meaning good, kind. The name was popularized by the fame of St. Agatha of Sicily, a third-century Christian saint and martyr. Crazy Lace Agate is the stone of laughter and is believed to absorb negative feelings and to bring happiness.
