The images were created in collaboration with Dr. Lauren Taylor Hudson, a geography professor, writer, and organizer. In the summer of 2023, we journeyed through Italian New York and made these images at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens, where my Sicilian great-grandparents lay resting.
